Enhancing the overall experience for beachgoers

A recent study from the University of Southern Florida suggests that sargassum levels in 2023 will be among the highest ever recorded. According to information obtained from NASA and many universities, there could be as much as 6 million tons of Sargassum seaweed floating in the eastern Caribbean sea.

This harms tourism, clogs ports and releases foul smelling fumes when left to rot, making beach cleanup a daily effort.

It’s not just unsightly and stinky, but it can actually impact sea turtles. Little hatchlings have a hard time climbing over the seaweed. It can shade coral, which is not good, and even throw off the pH of the ocean, which can kill fish.

At Sandman, we offer a solution and own the world’s most popular beach-cleaning machine. It is used in over 90 countries on 6 continents and as is ideal for quickly cleaning medium to large beaches.

Beach Maintenance

We keep beaches clean, safe, and enjoyable for visitors by addressing various issues that may impact the quality and safety of the beach environment.

Beach Restoration

Beaches are moving, the sand on the beach today is not going to be the sand on the same beach next year. We can add sand to the beach, which can help combat erosion, increase beach width and rebuild the beach ecosystem.

Disaster Relief

Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1st through November 30th, we are no strangers to the unforgiving storms that may or may not make landfall. Regardless, Sandman is dedicated to ensuring a safe, quick, and effortless turnaround for the residents, habitats, and facilities that are affected.
